Beautiful aroma of onion, spices and beef stock, this soup is robust, delicious and heartwarming.
With the addition of croutons and Swiss or Gruyère cheese, this is transformed into a traditional French dish.
Pour contents of jar into a pot. Add 7 cups of water. Bring to a boil over high heat, reduce heat to low and simmer approx. 20 minutes.

Add cooked soup to an oven safe bowl. Top with croutons and Swiss cheese. Broil on high for 1-2 minutes until cheese bubbles.
